Each 24” Atlantis Gong looks slightly different. The process of metallurgy mixes with the art of the gongmaker, and from the magic of fire comes these unique creations. They are mysterious in look and sound, like an ancient civilization at the bottom of the ocean discovered by James Cameron. Explore the mystery of this gong.

The 24” Chau Gong is iconic in appearance. It is what many people see in their mind’s eye when they think of a Chinese Gong. The bull’s-eye design is created by the metal lathing between the rim of the gong and the center.

The Chau Gong will start deep, and is helped by the rim on the edge, but the lathing allows for a good crash as well. These gongs are perfect for announcements and celebrations, as well as sound healing, or just plain fun!

This 24" Subatomic Gong, closely related to the Chau gong, comes with an extra lathed ring. An extra ring of shining bronze means an extra layer of shining sound.

So the Subatomic Gong holds a deep low tone, the strong rumble that gets your cells vibrating. Then it ascends, expands into tones and shimmers a bit faster than a traditional Chau.

It is its own sound, a Subatomic sound that will get all of you vibrating and ready for whatever happens to come next.

We just don't know what it will be.

But you will be ready.

Note: We're in the process of making a great sample video to illustrate this size and type of gong. If you are interested in purchasing this gong, but need to hear it first, please contact us here and we can create a quick video for you.

The Sun Gong, what we at Gongs Unlimited call the Solar Flare Gong, is a less traditional Chinese Gong than some of the other styles. It’s a more recent design created by Chinese gong makers and is available to all gong sellers, so we felt compelled to pvut it in the Traditional section. It is basically a Wind Gong, but with concentric bands of lathed and unlathed circles. The unlathed parts control the crash and splash, less than a Wind Gong. The rings concentrate the tones and it does not open up sound-wise like a fully lathed gong.

Made exclusively for Gongs Unlimited, our 24” Subatomic Gong is the perfect option for your collection of sound healing tools. A simple metaphor: Subatomics are to our Chau Gong as the black keys on a piano are to the white.

The Subatomic creates a mystic tone when struck with complex overtones building over the top. Often, striking it in the different concentric rings will give you a slightly different tone each time, adding to the mystique of these gongs. It sounds beautiful for both music and meditation.

For those using it to heal, the Subatomic gong is wonderful for helping face tough internal issues with aplomb. It helps move those darker energies out. These gongs will allow you to tap into your reserve of strength to heal and grow into a greater person.

The 24” Wind Gong is fully lathed, all shiny. It also does not have a rim; it is flat on the edge. This design gives the Wind Gong its splashy celebratory tone when struck with a quick fast attack. At 24”, the Wind gong will have more sonic flavors, overtones and harmonics than at the smaller sizes, but will still crash quickly unless tapped very gently with a hard mallet.

Each 26” Atlantis Gong looks slightly different. The process of metallurgy mixes with the art of the gongmaker, and from the magic of fire comes these unique creations. They are mysterious in look and sound, like an ancient civilization at the bottom of the ocean discovered by James Cameron. Explore the mystery of this gong.

The 26" Atlantis Chau Gong mixes the classic look and feel of the traditional Chau gong with mystique and depth of our exclusive Atlantis gong.

The science of metallurgy and the art of the gongmaker combine to create a gongs with differing coloration and varying pockets of harmonics throughout the gong. The classic lathing pattern brings balance and control to the overall sound, making this gong something special that's a must-have for sound alchemists, therapists, healers and musicians.

The 26” Chau Gong is iconic in appearance.

The 26" Chocolate Drop Gong is a sweet little cocoa kiss, with a deep tone and a quick crash. It’s very similar to the Chau gong, though the darker ring on the outside of the Chau has been lathed off, so it gets brighter in tone, more easily.

A brighter tone can lead to a brighter you. A brighter you brightens your world and then everything is a little lighter. Yes, there is still chocolate inside.

The 26" Dark Star Gong is mysterious, but it also reveals mysteries. It can restore your hardware, it can make your Toyota brake dance, it is the First Airbender.

Similar to the Chau Gong, as it is thick metal with a rim. It rises above the traditional Chau Gong because of its special lathing and finishing.

Able to hold deeper notes longer, without the fear of premature splashing sounds, the 26" Dark Star is a gong for those of you who have ears that like to hear things that are more than the normal. For minds and bodies hungry for a flavor and soul healing that is new.

The 26” Heng Gong has a deeper rim than other Chinese Gongs, and is a bit thicker in the bronze. It is fully lathed like the Wind Gong. This creates a complex and marvelous mixture of sounds.

The Heng Gong is like a giant laser of sound, with focused harmonics and great presence. It is prized by musicians and sound healers alike. Get lost in the sounds of this gong for hours and hours.

The 26” Lunar Flare Gong is named after the ring of brightness that appears around the moon. It embodies the eternal of Earth's only satellite, yet we know the flare only because of today's technology, which made it possible to capture this previously unseen and beautiful phenomenon.

It has a deep sound, though not as sharp as its sister, the Solar Flare Gong. The rim focuses and clarifies the overall sound, which lingers pleasantly. There's lightness, like the light from the moon that pierces the thick of night. Deep sound emanates and expands and transforms dark to light.

The 26” Mother Tesla Gong is an unlathed gong. It looks how a gong looks when it comes out of the oven. Most Chinese gongs have this color when they come out of their cast mold, but then are lathed to create different tones.

In the gong world, it's good to keep in mind that the smaller the gong the clearer the tone. The darker the color tone, the slower it is to crash. Mother Tesla Gong, with its unlathed exterior maintains a deeper tone. It doesn’t crash like a Wind Gong, or even a Chau, but remains steady and focused on the deep, dark, fundamental tone with low and mid-range harmonics.

The 26” White Gong has a rim like a Chau Gong but is also fully lathed like a Wind gong. As expected, the White Gong has qualities of both these traditional Chinese gongs. The full lathing creates a bright, airy sound with a shiny splash, but the rim focuses that splash, and gives clarity to the overall sound.

If the Wind Gong is a soprano, the White Gong is an alto. It can be played gently and will create a tone that is both musical and meditative.

The 26” Wind Gong is fully lathed, all shiny. It also does not have a rim; it is flat on the edge. This design gives the Wind Gong its splashy celebratory tone when struck with a quick fast attack. Gong Stand Measurements:
Height: 47”
Width (Top): 39”
Width (Bottom): 41”
Depth of Feet: 21.5”

We call this iteration of our Lunaphonic Gong Stand: "Chinese NASA-Style." This is due to the fact that these stands function perfectly, but sometimes - not every one, but with some of these stands, the wood has slight color changes, or there is an extra hole that the stand maker realized was not needed and then put a wood plug in there.

When NASA landed a man on the moon in 1969, it was picture perfect and romantic, but now when China is reaching the moon, it is non-manned, functional and for scientific research. They are not as concerned about the show.

The Great News- Chinese NASA Style manufacturing saves you 60 Dollars on each one of these stands! Yes! They should be 60 dollars higher in price. And next shipment, when we have more Quality Control over them, they will be. But for now, SAVE A LOT OF MONEY!
