This listing comes with gong, stand, and mallet.

The 28" Atlantis is a gift from the deep ocean, out of the mouths of Chinese gong ovens. It's a gift of salt and heat which gives the Atlantis Gong its deep color flavor. It holds a deep tone. Through those deep tones ring otherworldly, watery overtones. There is surprising and soothing and fun to be had.

The 28" Chau is iconic in appearance. It is what many people see in their mind’s eye when they think of a Chinese Gong. The bull’s-eye design is created by the metal lathing between the rim of the gong and the center. The Chau Gong will start deep, and is helped by the rim on the edge, but the lathing allows for a good crash as well.

The 28" Chocolate Drop is similar to the Chau Gong. In fact, it is basically a Chau Gong with the outer dark ring lathed off. This makes the Chocolate Drop Gong not only look brighter than the Chau Gong, it can make it sound brighter too. And it tastes better (please don't try to eat your gong)!

The 28" Dark Star is similar to our Mother Tesla gongs. It has more of a musical bounce to the overall tone, but still able to maintain that moodier sentiment. The tones bring your thoughts forward for gentle examination. The Dark Star is a star indeed.

The 28" Galactic Ring mixes the lower tones from a larger unlathed Bronze gong with higher harmonics and overtones gained from its two lathed rings. It does this harmoniously, wonderfully, and surprisingly. Depending on the mallet and locations you strike, you find all sorts of combination of light and dark, dark and light.

The 28" Mother Tesla is what a gong looks like straight out of the oven. Most Chinese gongs have this color when they come out of their cast mold, but then are lathed to create different tones. Generally, the darker the color tone, the slower it is to crash. This gong, with its unlathed exterior, maintains a deeper tone. It doesn’t crash the same way a Wind or Chau Gong do.

The 28" Solar Flare (also called the Sun Gong) is a less traditional Chinese Gong than some of the more recognizable styles. It’s a more recent design created by Chinese gong makers and is available to all gong sellers, so we felt compelled to put it in the Traditional section. It is similar to a Wind Gong, but with concentric bands of lathed and unlathed circles. The unlathed parts control the crash and splash, less than a Wind Gong. The rings concentrate the tones and it does not open up sound-wise like a fully lathed gong.

The 28" Subatomic creates a mystic tone with complex overtones. Striking it in the different concentric rings will give you a slightly different tone each time, adding to the mystique of these gongs. Allow it to help face tough internal issues with aplomb. It helps move those darker energies out. These gongs will allow you to tap into your reserve of strength to heal and grow, emotionally and spiritually, into a greater person.

The 28" Wind is fully lathed, all shiny. It does not have a rim; it sits flat on its edge. The design gives the Wind Gong its splashy, celebratory tone when struck, rushing quickly from a gentle tap to a big crash. This is the gong you want for a big, explosive sound.

The 30" Chau is iconic in appearance. It is what many people see in their mind’s eye when they think of a Chinese Gong. The bull’s-eye design is created by the metal lathing between the rim of the gong and the center. The Chau Gong will start deep, and is helped by the rim on the edge, but the lathing allows for a good crash as well.

The 30" Mother Tesla Gong is an unlathed gong. This is how a Chinese gong looks right when it comes out of the oven. Most Chinese gongs have this color when they come out of their cast mold, but then are lathed to create different tones.

In the gong world, it's good to keep in mind that the smaller the gong the clearer the tone. The darker the color tone, the slower it is to crash. Mother Tesla Gong, with its unlathed exterior maintains a deeper tone. It doesn’t crash like a Wind Gong, or even a Chau.

The 30" Wind is fully lathed, all shiny. It does not have a rim; it sits flat on its edge. The design gives the Wind Gong its splashy, celebratory tone when struck, rushing quickly from a gentle tap to a big crash. This is the gong you want for a big, explosive sound.
