When you purchase one of TTE Kongklang's Yin Yang mallets, some people like to have a handle to give them extra support and strength. The handles are adjustable which allows you to change the pressure of the mallet on the gong when rubbed.

These mallet handles do the trick.

If you have or are purchasing an Edition 3 Yin Yang Mallet (the thinner 3mm handle), you want the Vario OTG 3 (Thin) Handle.

If you have or are purchasing an Edition 5 Yin Yang Mallet (the thicker 5mm handle), you want the Vario OTG 5 (Thick) Handle.

How to Install the Vario OTG 3 and OTG 5 Handle:

1) Remove the small rubber cap from the end of the mallet.

2) Lightly moisten the mallet stick with water, if necessary.
4) Slide OTG handle onto mallet stick.  Attach the handle by tightening the thumbscrew when the OTG is at your desired position.
5) To remove or move the handle, loosen the thumbscrew two turns.

Please Note:  NEVER disassemble the handle. 
There is no liability for improper care of handle. Damaged handles and screws will not be replaced for free. Gong rubber with a broken handle cannot be replaced.
The rubber mallets which are used with a Vario OTG Handle have a maximum pressure point load of 2500 grams / 5.5 lbs.  You do not need to be World's Strongest Man to get great sounds.

WARNING!!!: Hazardous for young children. Small parts could be swallowed or choked on. Be smart with your mallets.

The Vario OTG Handle is REQUIRED to use the Edition 3 #0 mallet. The other Edition 3 Yin Yang mallets can be used without the handle, but the handle provides additional stability and depending on where you place it on the mallet, changes the tone.  (See video above at 1:01.)
