How to Maintain Rubber Konklang Mallets:

These rubber mallets have a built-in UV stabilizer which slows down the aging of the rubber. The UV protection is a wax-like substance inside of the rubber. It will gradually migrate to the surface. 

To clean this wax up when you see it, you can occasionally pour boiling water over the ball, then rub with a terry towel.

Please Note: NEVER use a rubber conditioner!
