Andromeda 16" Earth Gong (#TNS979)

Andromeda Gongs are handmade in the Netherlands by gong artist Jesse Blauwhof. Jesse began working with metal at a young age, later introduced to musical instruments like gongs through the work of Ton Akkermans at "Creation of Sound".

These gongs are made of brass, with an emphasis on establishing a connection with the grounding energy of the Earth. Through meditation and concentration, he asks for this grounding Earth energy to be joined with the gong in cooperation with the elemental beings of their creation.

The 16” Earth Gong has a deep fundamental note with warm and embracing overtones. Playing the edges will unleash a gentle tremor to accompany the gong’s fundamental tone.

At 16" this gong is the perfect handheld gong to bring a new range of sounds to your sound baths. Use this gong to accent your larger gongs during sound baths and group gong meditations.
