About Hamid Jabbar:

"Hi, I'm Hamid, a lifelong musician, sound practitioner, and educator who has dedicated his career to exploring the transformative power of sound. With decades of experience in both classical music and healing sound practices, I bring a unique blend of formal training and spiritual wisdom to my work, having earned a Bachelor of Music from New York University and studied with renowned sound masters including Don Conreaux (Gong Master Training) and Angelo Surinder. My journey spans composing scores for short films, producing several albums of sound meditation music, and performing as a session musician for various recording projects. As the creator of the Sound Meditation program at Current Meditation, I've helped establish sound healing as a cornerstone of their wellness offerings, and through my comprehensive Sound Practitioner Training programs, I've had the honor of guiding hundreds of students in mastering the art and science of sound healing. My approach integrates both traditional wisdom and modern understanding, drawing from my extensive study of Eastern philosophical systems and Western scientific methods, including my background as a UCLA Law graduate, to create accessible and transformative sound experiences."
