The 32" Heng Gong. The Heng gong, in any size, is a sound gong. It is heavy and thick with a clear tone. At 32", the Heng gong is heavy. It is powerful. The tone is deep and rumbles to a crash. Thunder and wind in harmony.
The 34" Atlantis Gong carries the memory of Atlantis. Those ancient vibrations are why soft gentle Donovan had such a big hit in the 1960s with his hypnotic hippie anthem. All the former Atlanteans, dressed as Love Children, were singing their anthem. You don't have to be a neo-hippy, hipster, or aging hippie to enjoy our gong or Donovan's song! Go ahead sing along with the soft-spoken Scottish strummer, while you purchase this amazing gong.
Approximate Weight of Gong: 32 lbs
The 34" Chau Gong is a gong for when you need a presence. It is a gong that is a bodyguard to smaller gongs. This gong's depth is like a philosophy major versus a freshman taking a survey class. A gong that clean out a home of old ghosts, a gong that allows doctors to do prostate checks without the use of a finger. This a gong that will always love you, devoted almost, but not quite to a fault.
Approximate Gong Weight: 31 lbs
The 34" Mother Tesla Gong is an unlathed gong, designed specifically for Gongs Unlimited. This is how a gong looks when it comes out of the oven. Most Chinese gongs have this color when they come out of their cast mold, but then are lathed to create different tones.
Approximate Gong Weight: 32 lbs
The 34" Wind Gong is a big gust of wind. As wind grows larger, its effects grow deeper, deeper still. Like the deep stillness after a storm moves through. As the storm plays over the earth there are surprising overtones, long sustains, a wonder of when and if it will pass. Playing a 34" Wind Gong can be the same. You can find many different notes when playing it in different locations and with various mallets.
Approximate Gong Weight: 25 lbs
The 36" Atlantis Gong is a gong made just for Gongs Unlimited! Each one looks different. The gong making process allows for the science of metallurgy to mix with the art of the gongmaker to mix with the magic of fire to create each one of these gongs!
Approximate Gong Weight: 36 lbs 8 oz
The 36" Chau Gong is a classic gong with clear tones and bright splashes to add a beautiful melody or enhancement to any musical piece.
Approximate Gong Weight: 37 lbs
The 36" Chocolate Drop Gong has thick deep tones, thanks to the amount of bronze, that are made more mystical and complex by the extra bit of splash. It starts from a nice deep fundamental, similar to a Chau Gong, but then the Chocolate Drop will splash, crash a little faster than its cousin the Chau. This is thanks to the outside dark ring being lathed off.
Approximate Gong Weight: 37 lbs
The 36" Dark Star Gong has some deep deep tones. While the thickness of metal keeps the Dark Star Gong deep in tone, the lathing of the bronze in the center, brings out an interesting musicality and flow.
In this way the Dark Star differs from the Mother Tesla Gong, which stays moody and crepuscular. The Dark Star is a gong that gives you an adventure in space.
Approximate Gong Weight: 36 lbs 8 oz
The 36" Lunar Flare Gong is named after the ring of brightness that appears around the moon in a photo. It embodies the eternal of Earth's only satellite, yet we know the flare only because of today's technology which made it possible to capture this previously unseen and beautiful phenomenon. It has a deep sound, though not as sharp as its sister, the Solar Flare Gong. The rim focuses the sound which lingers pleasantly. There's a lightness, like the light from the moon that pierces the thick of night. Deep sound emanates and expands and transforms dark to light.
Approximate Gong Weight: 37 lbs
The 36" Mother Tesla Gong is an unlathed Chinese bronze gong. Made similarly to the Chau Gong, in this case the gong makers do not peel off the outside layer of bronze to make it shinier. In this manner, the gong does not crash or splash or get into a wash of tones as readily as any of the other gongs that are shiny, like the Chocolate Drop, Wind Gong, Subatomic, etc.
So not only is its look very mystical and deep, so is its sound. It doesn't like to crash. It is good for being meditative or keeping the mood profound.
Approximate Gong Weight: 36 lbs 8 oz
The 36" Solar Flare Gong is a less traditional Chinese Gong than some of the other styles. It’s a more recent design created by Chinese gong makers and is available to all gong sellers, so we felt compelled to put it in the Traditional section. It is basically a Wind Gong, but with concentric bands of lathed and unlathed circles. The unlathed parts control the crash and splash, less than a Wind Gong. The rings concentrate the tones and it does not open up sound-wise like a fully lathed gong.
Approximate Gong Weight: 28 lbs
The 36" Subatomic Gong is custom made for Gongs Unlimited. It has a bit more intensity and flavor than the traditional Chau Gong. In the same way that a sitar has a bit more pizazz that a regular acoustic six string guitar. It can often create notes unlike other gongs.
The Subatomic Gong has a propensity to create sounds that are great for healers in that the frequency it creates is great to help with energies that you or your client might not want to look at, or acknowledge, yet needs to move.
Approximate Gong Weight: 37 lbs
The 36" Wind Gong is a magnificent beast. Deep and fulfilling, sustaining and nurturing, but also complex and delightful, flirty and fun.
It can have a nice long deep tone and when played gently, let you languish over the various harmonics that it yields. However, when you build it fast and let it crash, it can be like a summer rainstorm, a sunshower as well.
Approximate Gong Weight: 28 lbs
The 38" Chau Gong is a classic gong with clear tones and bright splashes to add a beautiful melody or enhancement to any musical piece.
Approximate Gong Weight: 43 lbs
Exclusively made for Gongs Unlimited, the Dark Star Gongs are designed to bring beautiful tones into your life. The Dark Star line resemble our Mother Tesla Gongs, but with a more musical bounce to their tones - yet still able to maintain a moodier sentiment. The tones will bring out your thoughts for gentle examination, and help you grow.

Wow! The 38" Wind Gong! Talk about a big wind! Made of much bronze, in the hot ovens of Wuhan China, lathed by trained gong makers, imported by gong lovers, this 38" (a.k.a. 96cm) Gong is called a Wind Gong, but is also known as the FENG GONG in China.
Whoooosh! It is quite a sound. This gong starts deep, play it softly, let it build, deeper and more wily it grows, some are like synthesizers, some are like wind tunnels, some are rainstorms, and then it can crash like thunder, roar like a lion, shine like the sun.
This size gong, this marvelous instrument can remind you how marvelous sound is, and how wonderful the Bronze Age was!
