This listing is for two M174 mallets that come in their own cotton drawstring bags.
The Ollihess M174 Mallet is similar to a Paiste M1 mallet and is great to use on gongs 16" and above. The obvious difference between Ollihess mallets and Paiste mallets are the colorful plush fleece heads, the wooden versus metal handle, and the shorter length.
While the weight of the mallet is about the same, the slightly thicker wooden handles can feel more sturdy in your hand. It gives you a great quick response for gentle playing or rolling two mallets on the gong. An added benefit is the taper at the bottom so that your hand, if it slips, knows where the bottom of handle is.

Wonderful mallets
These mallets are amazing , I’m a sound healer and I can guarantee these are my favorite mallets to play my 24, 26 and 28inch gongs. The strike is solid and gentil allowing the gong to vibrate producing this effortless resonance , sound waves that vibrates and navigates back and forth as you play it . If you have to pick one pair of mallets to play your gong , look no more , pick these ones !
Great mallet
I love playing with two of these mallets on my larger 36” gong. They’re light weight, and the shorter handle makes them easy to maneuver around the gong without the handle accidentally coming into contact with it.
