Gongs Unlimited's Songbird is a chime holder designed to hold Koshi, Zaphir, and similar chimes. The design aesthetically evokes the fluid movement of a gliding water-bird. This form allows you to create healing sound with your chimes in a visually stunning new way.
The Songbird has two parts: the holder and the stand/base. The Songbird can be set down on a table or floor, the two pieces together. Or you can lift the top handle off the base, carrying the chimes as you play, creating a moveable wand of sound.
Your chimes can float through a room and over your clients for a complete and fulfilling sound healing experience. The handle is designed to be held comfortably, to flow and react with your subtle movements. The hole in the handle allows you to carry it with just a single finger or to suspend it from a hook on a large stand.
Simple alchemical symbols of the four natural elements are etched on the holder above each hook. If you are using a set of Koshi Chimes, each symbol corresponds to Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, allowing you to easily organize you chimes to hang below their corresponding element.
The fifth hook at the center of the holder may be left empty if you are using four Koshi Chimes. The symbol above the center hook is an eight-pointed spoke inside a circle representing Space or Spirit. Or if you are using a set of five Zaphir Chimes, which are not specially suggested to be any one element, the hook in the middle is there to hold your fifth chime.

Great addition to my space
This koshi chime stand is superior to the other ones I was considering. I love how it creates an additional instrument by allowing you to remove the top handle and play all the chimes at once similar to how you would play a swing chime. I recommend watching the video that shows how it works if you are considering this stand. It is well made and a beautiful addition in my treatment space.
Songbird Chime Stand
This is a really unique stand for my zaphir chimes. Conversation piece. It is beautiful and I love how it can hold all five chimes during a sound journey if desired. Very cool. * * * * *

So useful, looks good, functions good what more could one ask thanks Gongs Unlimited great merchandise only thing I didn't love was the Duty Canada Customs charged me but I was delighted with everything so absolutely worth it.
The Songbird is really a Sea Horse!
Used the Unlimited Songbird Chime Stand for the first time-during my sound journey for a retreat. The display actually caught everyone’s attention. I’m still “breaking it in”. There is an adjustment screw where you can adjust the tension of the stand. I rubbed a bit of candle wax on the cradle of the stand & hanger. It is convenient to hold the hanger by the middle if with the finger hold. I’ll still have practice time removing from the holder & replacing the hanger on the stand; but overall, great convenience. I used 4 chimes. It is our consensus that the Songbird hanger started as a songbird that morphed into a Canadian goose that was magically transformed through vibrational sound into a seahorse!
