These musical recordings are created for Kundalini Yoga practice but can be enjoyed by anyone.
Kundalini Yoga involves awakening the kundalini energy that resides at the base of the spine and allowing it to travel up and heal your chakras, body and spirit. Some yogis do this by chanting mantras, or performing asanas (specific physical poses), or utilizing pranayama (breath).
Through this practice one is able to slide into deep meditation, enlightenment, and bliss. Much of modern kundalini yoga is inspired by the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, who attached Tantric theories and Sikh mantras to postures and techniques giving society a newly synthesized form of Kundalini Yoga. He has described this form of yoga as consisting of "active and passive asana-based kriyas, pranayama, and meditations which target the whole body system (nervous system, glands, mental faculties, chakras) to develop awareness, consciousness and spiritual strength."
