We feel so lucky to have someone like Matthew Shrader living and working so close to Unlimited HQ! Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Matthew is a glass-blower with over 20 years of experience. He's created a wide variety of work, from smaller pieces to large scale sculpture installation and everything in between.
We fell in love with the beautiful glass bells he makes. They create soothing, meditative tones, not unlike crystal bowls. We recently had him in for a brief discussion to talk about his process, the history of his bells, techniques for playing, and the best mallets for playing glass bells.
