Maybe you already have one of these amazing Earth Tuned Sound Swords, Solar Bells, or DnA Keys. If so, you’re probably getting a lot of use out of it – they’re impossible to put down once you start using them.

But what happens when these amazing, beautifully shiny instruments get dirty? The polished finish is very aesthetically pleasing, but fingerprints, grease, grime, dust, oils – nobody wants that when they’re trying to heal with sound. So how do you clean these beautifully polished instruments?

We spoke with the makers of these instruments to get their suggestions for cleaning and then we tried it ourselves. All you need to clean your Sound Sword, DnA Key, or Bell is a very soft cloth and some soapy water. Dip the cloth in the soapy water and gently clean away the gunk.

Another option is to use a very soft cloth with regular baking flour – the flour is very effective at pulling the oil off of the surface, so it’s a great way to remove fingerprints if that’s the main issue.

If you find that there are scuffs or small hairline scratches, or if you want to just brighten up the finish, you can use a polish to get it shining. We recommend Mothers brand Mag and Aluminum Polish (click here to check it out).
