Good for strikes, not sure about friction
As with all purchases of gongs online you never really know what you're going to get. Personally I think gongs unlimited should provide more than one picture for the product. It was actually very hard to tell the shape and edge work of this gong from the picture. This gong has some great sounds while striking it but I have yet to find a friction mallet that works well on it in my opinion.
